Is the Dot Tel domain just another useless extension?:
No, defenitly not. Some keywords rank very well, and help you get found.
How can you keep track of the latest Dot Tel achievements and news? Only by reading Twitter tweets. Where can I find them?: In „Google Blogs“ and „Google Updates“, wthin „Google Search“.
Telnic does update ist's website, but it is time consuming to find the updates. For example, I only learned about the latest „Telstory“, through a Twitter tweet, mentioning it.
A few blogs and Forums have turned silent, or have shut down, due to lack of support from the registry (marketing and developing efforts).
Nevertheless, there are new people demonstrating their faith in .Tel, by providing new tools, applications and blog posts.
What is Telnic the registry doing so wrong again?: It is too passive, as it also has to compete against new comers, such as „WikiWorldbook“.
The overall globe spanning inactivety around .Tel, is quasi dangerous about keeping .Tel viable.
Only more activety can boost .Tel.
There seems to be money around, to bail out a Telnic vice president in prison (75'000 Euros), but not for marketing...
Telnic had enough time, to sort out their mess, since June, and one would expect them to move on, now.
Telnic seems to be a company, who does not much understand, nor care about it's business. A sort of "laisser faire" atitude. And it repeatedly leaves its community members standing in the rain.
Not much action, nor support from Telnic. Telnic may be justa another lousy company, but its product is a promising one, that needs and deserves more attention.
